Neon Vibes® was lucky enough to be chosen by Sony Music Entertainment and Somethin Else to collaborate with them on creating neon signs for Kermode and Mayo’s new podcast venture – Kermode and Mayo’s Take!
On the 1st April, Kermode and Mayo left their high-profile, long-running film review show, after 21 years at the BBC. They rebranded as Kermode and Mayo’s Take, and moved lightning-fast across to Sony Music Entertainment.
The creative team at SME wanted both stars’ names in neon lights, as a stunning studio backdrop to all their high-profile interviews. Exciting to say the least!
The challenge SME gave Neon Vibes® was to bring their logo to life in neon, in a way that the both the stars and the cameras would love. We also had to do it fast! The team at Kermode and Mayo’s Take needed the neon signs to be a key part of promotional images to launch the show on Star Wars Day 2022!

We did it!
Within 2 weeks we had designed, created, tested and delivered these 2 gorgeous custom neon signs ready for the first interview with famous actor Tom Hiddleston. PROUD!
The signs are even drawing comment from the press in what some journos are calling ‘Sony Music Entertainment’s plush neon-lit digs’ – we did that!!! 😊 😊
SME are so super pleased with us they kindly sent us a lovely video of unboxing and gorgeous images of the signs in-situ along with this super-dooper lovely thank you review!

In fact, they love their custom neon signs so much that they are taking them to feature on stage at The London Podcast Show during Kermode and Mayo’s Take’ Headline slot. And they have just ordered a Sony Music Entertainment branded one to complete the look. 😊
