Command™ Picture Hanging Strips make fitting your signs quick and easy. Best of all, when you are ready to take down or move your sign, they come off cleanly—no nail holes, cracked plaster or sticky residue.
First, clean the wall with isopropyl rubbing alcohol by wiping gently. Don't use household cleaners like wipes or sprays because they can leave behind a slippery residue. |
Separate the strips. Press two strips together until they click. |
Remove one of the green liners and press onto the rear of the sign. Repeat with the other pairs of strips as shown above. Spread them evenly around the sign in order to distribute the weight evenly. Check the Command strips instructions package for the correct weight limits. |
Remove the remaining liners and press sign on the wall. Press the sign above each of the strips firmly against the wall for 30 seconds. |
If you want to ensure the adhesive will hold, remove the sign by grabbing the bottom of the sign and peeling it up and away from the wall. Don't pull straight off. Now, press the strips that remained on the wall for 30 seconds. Make sure to press the entire strip. |
Wait 1 hour before reattaching the sign. Line up the strips on the sign with the strips on the wall. Press until each pair of strips click and lock in place. |
Remove the sign by grabbing the bottom corners and peeling the sign up and away from the wall. Don't pull straight off. |
Remember to never pull the strips towards you or peel from the wall. Always pull straight down as slow as you can. |
Slowly stretch the strip straight down, keeping your hand against the wall as you go. Keep stretching up to 15 inches(31.8 cm). |
