We offer 3 different types of backing option, Cut To Shape, Full Board and Cut To Letter.
Here's a little more about each of them:
Cut To Shape (Most popular)
This is where the backing follows the contour of the shape, with 3-4cm outline.
The Centres are usually solid to keep the piece nice and rigid, but It depends on the size and design.
Full Board
This is where the backing is cut to a full rectangle/square, apx 6-8cm bigger than the design overall.
The corners are slightly rounded so there isn't a sharp edge.
Cut To Letter
This is where the backing follows the shape of the design very closely with a 1-1.5cm outline.
The backing has as much as possible cut away from it, whilst supporting struts are sometimes added to make sure the sign isn't too flimsy for carriage.
Depending on the design, words are usually supplied separate with electrical plug'n'play connectors between the separate pieces.
*Sometimes keyhole fixings aren't possible, so we will add 5mm holes should you want to fix with screws instead of the command strips we supply.
